Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 17, 2026
These terms cover your use of Hookline — a tool that writes, designs, and posts TikTok slideshows for your app. By using it, you agree to these terms. They're written plainly on purpose.
The service
Hookline generates carousel content for TikTok, lets you review and edit it, and posts it to a TikTok account you connect, at times you approve. We provide the tool; you provide the product details, screenshots, and the TikTok account.
Your account
- One account per customer. Keep your credentials private — what happens under your login is your responsibility.
- You must be able to legally grant us the rights to the assets you upload (your screenshots, product imagery, copy direction).
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
Your content and your TikTok
- You own your content. Carousels generated in your workspace are yours to post anywhere.
- Nothing posts without your approval. Scheduled posts can be edited or pulled back until they go out.
- You are responsible for what's published on your TikTok account — including complying with TikTok's own terms, community guidelines, and disclosure rules.
- We may mark AI-generated media where TikTok or law requires it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Hookline to generate or post spam, scams, misleading claims, harassment, IP-infringing material, or anything that violates TikTok's rules. Accounts that do get terminated.
Subscription and billing
- Hookline is a monthly subscription, billed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Their terms cover the transaction itself.
- Cancel anytime — access continues through the end of the paid period. Founding pricing stays locked for as long as the subscription stays active.
- We may change pricing for new subscribers with notice; existing subscribers' active price doesn't change retroactively.
What we promise — and don't
We work hard to make the posts good and the pipeline reliable. We don't guarantee views, followers, or installs — TikTok's algorithm does what it does. The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything related to the service is capped at what you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Termination
You can leave anytime by cancelling. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination, your data is deleted per the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes get announced by email before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
